
THE PROFESSOR:
Matthew L. Stavisky has earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Union College. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctrine at Suffolk University Law School. Matthew Stavisky worked directly with Harold for six years. Together they improved the course materials, lectures and study techniques. Since the passing of his father, Matthew has continued to run the course on his own. Matthew takes pride in the fact that he has been highly successful in helping both first time takers and repeat applicants reach their goal of passing the Massachusetts Bar Exam.
THE FOUNDER: Harold Stavisky (1939 - 2004) earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Boston University. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctrine, Cum Laude at Boston University School of Law. Mr. Stavisky continued his education at Harvard Graduate School of Design for Regional and City Planning. Mr. Stavisky taught Wills & Trusts and Evidence at New England School of Law. Mr. Stavisky has authored numerous volumes for West Publishing Massachusetts Series. His publications include two volumes "Landlord/Tenant Law", five volumes of "Legal Business Forms". He also authored several chapters in Volume VI Federal Practice Series "Immigration, Naturalization, Passports and Deportation". Mr. Stavisky is an expert on the essay portion of the bar exam. For over 35 years he had been analyzing and forecasting the Massachusetts Bar Exam as well as other states'. He knew what issues are most frequently tested and how they are tested. Mr. Stavisky passed on his knowledge and expertise to his students through his courses. Thousands of Bar Exam Applicants have benefited from Mr. Stavisky's innovative techniques and have become attorneys.
